We had an early start to the day. The bus picked us up from our hotel; where we headed to the main area of Florence to begin our tour for the day. A local tour guide provided some really interesting facts about the churches of Florence. We wore special audio units that helped us hear the tour guide in a busy, but very friendly city of Florence.

The tour guide also showed us some very interesting shops along the way, like this Pinocchio shop.
This church is the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. It is a very famous church known for its red-tiled dome and Renaissance architecture. We also got to celebrate mass at this great church today.
