Logging on (Students)

The home screen provides you with relevant alerts and news, as well as your schedule (timetable) for the day.

Your schedule (timetable) for the day
Menu: Allows you to access other Compass and school resources. The Calendar in particular, provides your timetable, as well as assessment task schedules.
Tools (cog): Press this if you wish to log out of Compass.
Notifications: News items from staff can be seen here.
Your Schedule: Provides you with your timetable for the day. It also includes any room swaps. If there is a room swap, the original room is crossed out and the new room is given.
My Tasks and Looking Ahead: Soon, this area will show you any upcoming tasks from your teachers, as well as any excursions coming up
Your Class Pages
Each of your classes has a Class Page. Your class pages can be accessed by clicking on the pencil icon in the top menu. Each of your class pages may contain resources that have been uploaded for the subject, as well as work to complete for the period that your class teacher may have uploaded.
Your Schedule (Timetable)
Your timetable can be seen either on your Compass home page (your schedule for the day), or as a weekly view by clicking on the calendar icon in the top menu. Your assessment schedule can also be seen in your timetable. You can also press on any of the periods to go directly to the class page for that day.
