The Year 12 Construction class have been given some great opportunities in learning the skills of the trade. The skills they have learnt has been put to a real-world situation in constructing a wooden deck, and they are certainly using their expertise to its full potential and learning excellent life skills at the same time.
The class helped plan the project, which included ideas to make the deck fully functional. The term project will see the development of the deck progressively built, with the joists now in place.
