As many people prepare to celebrate Mothers Day this weekend, our senior students from the Merici House have taken on the initiative to sell a number of hand-made, practical presents for our mums. The products would certainly make a special and unique present for our mums this Mothers Day; but the products have an extra special story - they were made by volunteers from the Mothers for All organisation in Botswana.
The Mothers For All organisation aims to develop a sustainable future for orphans and vulnerable children in South Africa. Many women in Botswana and South Africa are employed by the foundation to create jewellery, bookmarks, USB tassels, key rings and cards. All money raised from the sale of the items will be given to Mothers For All so they can continue to provide support to those in need.
