GSCC welcomes our upcoming Year 7 2020 students

The College welcomed our newest members today, with just over 230 Year 6 students from various Primary Schools in the area coming to GSCC for Orientation Day. The focus for the day was to have a first-hand experience on the day-to-day life of a high school student, and to make sure they were ready for their first real day of high school in 2020. The Peer Support Team, who were a number of students from Year 9, helped our new members with the new high school experience.

A number of activities were conducted; which included a tour of where the various facilities of the College were, as well as a number of ice-breaker activities for the students to get to know each other better. They were even introduced to the new College song. Members of the music team helped in the process.

The Good Samaritan Catholic College Community looks forward to formally welcoming our newest members in just a couple of month's time, when they officially commence as our new Year 7 students in 2020.
