Good Samaritan Catholic College welcomed our upcoming new students today from several different primary schools. They will be joining the College as Year 7 students in 2021, but had the opportunity to get to know the life of High School better at the Year 7 Orientation Day today. The Orientation Day gave them the opportunity to experience a regular day in High School.
The students who are currently in Year 6, completed many activities throughout the day and explored the College with the help of the Year 10 Peer Support team. They got to know each other better, as well as having the opportunity to make new friends through the various icebreaker activities that they participated in. Through the help of the College's music department; the new students also learnt the school song and were taught the message behind the Good Samaritan parable.
On behalf of the GSCC community, we are looking forward to officially welcoming the Year 7 class of 2021 in the new year. We hope that 2021 will be an eventful and enjoyable year for our new students, which will be filled with enriched learning experiences.
