Good Samaritan Catholic College's Media Team have been crowned winners of Sydney Catholic Schools' Thrive Film Festival. Sian and Jordan Fuller from Channel 7's The Voice announced the remarkable win during a special livestream premiere of the Thrive FilmFest awards ceremony on Friday evening.
The competition saw a large number of film entries from across the Sydney Archdiocese which invited schools to produce a film that was based on the theme of 'Celebrate'. The competition was part of a number of ways Catholic schools were able to celebrate the Bicentenary of Catholic Education. Six finalists were selected, where a panel of judges from SCS and the film industry came together to conclude on a winning entry.
The winning film from Good Samaritan Catholic College showcases the creative talent and innovation of the school's Media Team.
