Good Samaritan Catholic College recently celebrated the 2020 High Achievers' Assembly to formally recognise the outstanding achievements and efforts of the HSC class of 2020. The awards were:
2020 NESA Nominations
2020 HSC First in Course Awards
HSC Distinguished Achievers
HSC High Achievers
College Dux Award
This year, the College Dux title was awarded to Fadi Jan who received one of the highest HSC results, with an outstanding ATAR of 99.05. This included a Band 6 in Economics, English Advanced, English Extension 1, Mathematics Advanced, Physics and Science Extension. He delivered an exceptional speech about his high school and HSC journey. Fadi also reminded the Good Samaritan student community to engage in other activities when we have time to become the best version of ourselves. He concluded his speech by reminding the students to embrace hope and engage in our faith.
Lastly, due to the current unfortunate circumstances; the celebration was a little different for the graduates, families, classmates, and friends. Restrictions were in place. However, thanks to the Special Events and Media Team's fantastic work, the assembly was live-streamed to ensure that the College Community could celebrate this fantastic day together with our HSC graduates. We congratulate all our award recipients on their wonderful achievements!
