A lot of challenges were thrown at this year's class of 2021. Disrupted class routines, remote learning, online examinations, and longer than usual lockdowns across the state... yet the cohort persevered. Monday was a momentous milestone for our Year 12s. After 13 years of studying at school, they finally graduated. The College community recognised the hard work and dedication of our senior students and this was undertaken in a rather different type of celebration due to the current restrictions in place.
The day commenced with a special celebration mass for Good Samaritan Day - a day that recognises the wonderful values of the GSCC community.
Our College captains; Alofaina and Retty, addressed the community for the final time... "It was our unconditional faith in God, which gave us the confidence to represent our community."
The graduation ceremony was livestream-recorded due to the restrictions in place on the day. Links to the streams are found below. We hope you can join us in celebrating this wonderful milestone.
