GSCC's Yr 12 Construction Class Builds a Stellar Chicken Coop for Marion Catholic Primary School!

Over the past term, the talented students of Year12B Construction embarked on an exciting project to design, construct, and install a remarkable Chicken Coop for Marion Catholic Primary School at Horsley Park.

The school approached the class with a request to revamp and build a brand-new Chicken Coop to replace the old one, catering to their special program involving primary students. Eager to take on the challenge, the class wholeheartedly embraced the task, determined to acquire new skills and leave a lasting impact on the school.


With a keen eye for detail and a passion for learning, these industrious students set to work. They utilised a diverse array of real-world carpentry, joinery, and concreting skills. The class brought the vision of the Chicken Coop to life, ensuring it met industry standards with its intricate detailing and production techniques.

The result of their hard work left the school very impressed and elated with the final product. The new Chicken Coop now stands as a testament to the students' creativity, craftsmanship, and problem-solving abilities.
