GSCC the 2021 champions of the inaugural South West Super Cup


On the 31st March, Good Samaritan competed in the inaugural South West Super Cup. This invitational tournament was organised by the NSW Police Force and held at the Cabramatta Rugby Leagues Club. The competition was a mixed gender League Tag competition for Year 7 students. Good Samaritan were crowned the inaugural champions, with victories in the group stage over St Anthony Catholic College (6-3), St Marks Coptic Orthodox College (9-2) and All Saints Catholic College (8-1). The first place in each group then progressed to the semi-finals where Good Samaritan was victorious against Lurnea High School (4-1) and then when on to defeat Freeman Catholic College in the grand final (3-2).


A big congratulations to the team and Mr. Munro for coaching. Annalise S was awarded player of the grand final by the tournament organisers, and Mr. Munro recognised the efforts of Jason T as player of the day.
