As the curtains draw on Term 4 at Good Samaritan Catholic College (GSCC), we reflect on a period full of activity, achievements, and sad farewells...
Term 4 bore witness to the culmination of academic endeavours as our senior students faced the challenge of the Higher School Certificate (HSC) Examinations. Their dedication and hard work echoed through the corridors as they tackled this significant milestone in their educational journey.
The sporting arena was ablaze with victories, including the moment our Junior Boys Volleyball team claimed the coveted first position in their conference. Their commitment, skill, and teamwork exemplified the spirit of sportsmanship at GSCC. We also honour Mogin and Zachary on their incredible achievement at the Badminton Gala Day, as well as noteworthy achievements from our Year 7-9 Boys Futsal Team, Intermediate Girls and Boys OzTag Teams, Intermediate Girls Volleyball Team and Senior Boys Volleyball Team.
In a series of heartwarming ceremonies, GSCC took a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of our students. The recent Presentation Evenings served as a platform to recognise and honour those who excelled academically, demonstrated leadership, and contributed significantly to the school community.
Amidst the celebratory atmosphere, a touch of nostalgia and sadness envelops the impending departure of our esteemed Principal, Mr. Corcoran. As he bids farewell to GSCC at the end of the term, his legacy of leadership, guidance, and dedication will forever remain etched in the fabric of our school. We also honour the staff and students who sadly leaves us at the end of 2023.
