Our Year 7 students recently had the wonderful opportunity to experience camp at Camp Yarramundi! They were challenged to step out of their comfort zones and try many activities. This included the Giant Swing, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Abseiling and team-building exercises. In the evenings; they celebrated their faith with a special Camp Liturgy, as well as get to know their year group members better through a trivia game night and even a disco.
The camp experience definitely encouraged our Year 7 students to showcase their new talents, and build their confidence and teamwork skills.
Camp Yarramundi would not have run smoothly if it wasn’t for the teachers at GSCC and the instructors of the camp’s hard work and effort to make it possible for the Year 7 students.
Overall, it was a great experience for everyone involved.
