SCS Table Tennis Competition Gala: A Display of Passion and Growth!

The SCS Table Tennis Competition Gala brought out the best in students, as they battled for victory in a thrilling tournament. With 11 teams competing, four pushed deep into the competition, proving their determination and skill.

Though every team gave their all, only three advanced to the finals. The Junior Boys impressed by defeating Freemans 1 in the quarterfinals, earning their place in the semis against Freemans 2. Their first singles match was a triumph, but the second singles and doubles matches ended in a nail-biting defeat.

The Senior Girls also put up an intense fight, with both teams facing off in the quarterfinals - an intense moment of friendly rivalry. Only one team could progress, but a tough loss against All Saints halted their campaign. Despite the outcome, every player showcased impressive skill and unwavering dedication.

Looking ahead, the Good Samaritan team is already preparing for next year, fuelled by new experiences and training opportunities. Thanks to the College for providing the new Table Tennis tables which were essential for practice throughout the year, students will refine their techniques and sharpen their strategies, ensuring an even stronger performance in future competitions.

Congratulations to all competitors for their hard work and resilience. The future of SCS Table Tennis is bright, and we can't wait to see what next year brings!
