Teachers and students from Sydney Catholic Schools are invited to experience digital media like never before at an upcoming hands‑on innovation event designed to bring creativity, technology, and real-world learning to life. This unique and immersive program highlights the future of digital storytelling and classroom media production, offering practical insights that teachers can immediately apply in their learning environments.


In partnership with Sony, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest digital media technologies through live demonstrations and interactive experiences. From advanced camera systems to emerging audiovisual tools, participants will gain firsthand an understanding of how industry-standard equipment can elevate both teaching and student-driven projects.



Teachers and students will also see media presentations from Good Samaritan Catholic College's Special Events & Media Team. Students will showcase a number of their projects, demonstrating how digital media is used authentically within the school to enhance learning, build collaboration, and develop industry-relevant skills. These presentations will provide a powerful example of how student voice and creativity can be showcased through purposeful media integration.


Throughout the afternoon, teachers will also receive practical strategies for implementing digital media in the classroom, regardless of subject area or experience level. From improving student engagement to strengthening multimodal learning, the event aims to empower teachers with tools and ideas that make a meaningful impact on learning outcomes.
