Good Samaritan Catholic College proudly celebrated the graduation of our Year 12 students, marking the culmination of their high school journey. On Tuesday, 24th September, the day began with the traditional Year 12 breakfast, followed by house assemblies, and concluded with a formal College-wide farewell assembly.
The events gave the College the opportunity to honour the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2024, highlighting their dedication, perseverance, and resilience throughout their time at the College. As they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives, the students' inspiring stories and accomplishments were celebrated with pride by the entire school community.
The celebrations continued the following evening, with a special Mass led by Fr Simon. The Mass provided a beautiful and reflective atmosphere, allowing the students and their families to come together in gratitude and prayer. The ceremony was an opportunity to give thanks for the students' growth and achievements throughout their time at Good Samaritan, while also seeking blessings for their future paths.
Following the Mass, the much-anticipated presentation of awards commenced. Students were formally recognised for their outstanding accomplishments across a wide range of areas, including academic excellence, sporting achievements, and contributions to co-curricular activities.
The presentation of graduation certificates was a particularly emotional moment, symbolising the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and personal growth. Proud families and friends watched as each graduate crossed the stage to receive their certificates, celebrating both individual and collective success.
The evening was filled with pride and joy, and the ceremony was a fitting tribute to the incredible journey of the Class of 2024. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all Year 12 graduates and wish them every success in their future pathways. Their legacy of success and inspiration will be remembered at Good Samaritan Catholic College for years to come.
A special thank you to all the staff, students, and families for their contributions in making this graduation such a memorable and meaningful event.
